Nature Trail by the Betwa Riverside
Orchha is situated on the banks of the beautiful Betwa river, surrounded by lush farmland and serene wilderness. This is a paradise for birds such as parakeets, lapwings, kingfishers, egrets and cormorants. These wild areas are also home to animals like langurs, macaques and spotted deer.
Take a leisurely morning walk along the riverbank and enjoy the flora and fauna, accompanied by a guide. The path is dotted with lovely medieval temples, tombs and gateways. Enjoy seeing the confluence of two rivers, the Betwa and the Jamni.
